Meet Julia, our resident Fashion Designer.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Julia joined the Belle & Bloom team just over a year ago  as our head clothing designer (so you can thank her for your favourite Belle & Bloom frock!)

We asked Julia to share her best-loved eatery in Sydney.

At the footsteps of Sydney Harbour, William Blue Dining Restaurant, an award-winning Torrens Uni student-run modern Australian eating house sits at the former location of Neil Perry's Rockpool. The student training haute cuisine hot spot has a reputation for it's exceptional fine-dining experience that will not break the bank, making it unbelievable that it's pupil crafted.

An evening at the modern Australian cookery solidifies its position as the rare restaurant where wine and food meet on an equal footing.

To feast on Julia's favourite dish, you'll have to be in the know! It's a special that isn't displayed on the menu, an octopus dish aside the truffle risotto. She pairs the decadent dish with her favourite wine, the 2019 Mesh Riesling of Eden Valley, SA ($55/bottle).

Or Dress up for the dressed up tasting menu, bag in tow, a mere $60 per person or $100 with a Saint & Scholar Wine pairing. The 5 course delight starts with a Pickled baby beetroot with trimmings d'oeuvre, moves onto an albacore tuna, a oxtail tortellini a lamb noisette ending with a white chocolate mousse, coconut jaconde with raspberry jelly and lemon creme diplomat.

All wine pairings grown from the vines of the Adelaide Hills; an array from Sparkling to Semillon.

Roll home, put on your coziest oversized sweatshirt and shorts, retire to your former quarantine spot on the couch and fall into the dreamiest food coma.

We're convinced, the William Blue Dining Restaurant is not to be missed.
